Organic Homemade Diaper Cream

April 19, 2017

If you're like me and want to do your best to keep as many harmful chemicals and toxins off your baby, then you'll love this easy recipe for Organic Homemade Diaper Cream. It' super affordable - I'd estimate about $15 for a 2-3 months supply. It's simple and multifunctional too! Use on elbows, feet, tummies, and even beards!

Here's my recipe:
2 cups Organic Shea Butter
1 cup Organic Coconut Oil (*Costco is great)
3 Tablespoons Organic Bees Wax
20 drops Essential Oil, we used Gentle Baby
Combine Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, and Bees Wax in a stove top safe bowl. Heat water in pot to a boil, place bowl over top and stir to melt. Apx 5-7 mins.
Remove from heat and let cool for apx 30 mins, mixture will still be warm and liquified.
Add essential oils desired, and mix to with a hand mixer or by hand for 10 mins to add air into cream.
Fill into containers while still warm and pourable, and let cool overnight to room temperature.
Enjoy!
