FOR HIS FATHER
I was given the name, Tahiti "Celia" Fernandez, after my Grandmother, Celia Dowding. Born in 1924, she spent her life as a special education school teacher and lover of books.
To honor her in my writing, I have decided to use "Celia" as my pen name for all my dramatic fiction writing.
"In Celia’s debut as a dramatic fiction writer, she takes you to the moment where, Joe, a simple & loving man, is about to attend his 80th birthday gala. We follow Joe into his mind and heart as he reflects on the man and father he has been, the son he raised, the father he lost, and the woman that saved his life."
What people are saying about FOR HIS FATHER:
“Beautifully written. I didn’t expect it to effect me so emotionally.
I was truly touched.”
“A beautiful story that illustrates love and connections between father and son. The writing is as warm as the tears I shed while reading it.”
“Celia magically weaves golden threads of love through a deeply moving life-story worthy of framing in our hearts, minds, and souls!"
“No matter what your relationship with your father was or is, ‘For His Father’ will touch your heart.”
